GLASRA is one of many local referee groups from around the state affiliated with the Michigan Soccer Association (MSA) and US Soccer (USSF). Our membership includes youth and adult referees living in the greater Lansing area. We were established in 1977 and today are one of the largest soccer referee associations in Michigan. GLASRA's area of service has expanded to service fields within in an approximate 50 mile radius of Lansing.
GLASRA's Functions
1. To assist the Michigan Referee Committee with training referees in the Laws of the Game and certifying them through US Soccer.
2. Schedule and assign certified referees to various local youth and adult leagues.
3. To assist the Michigan Referee Committee with monitoring, assessing, and improve upon referee performance.
