Mentoring Program
Informal observations meant to help develop you as an official are help prepare officials for upgrades. To request support from the mentoring program, contact the director of the mentoring program, Anthony Ingle at ingleant@gmail.com. Upgrading from grade 9 to 8 is the only upgrade for which you do not need an assessment, you simply need to take a “bridge course” to for additional training to certify as a grade 8.

Reimbursement Info
To encourage our members to strive for higher levels of accomplishment GLASRA will reimburse referees up to $60 for the cost of successful upgrade assessments. Bridging from Grade 9 to Grade 8 does not include an assessment. Included is a form (MS word, pdf) to be used to document the assessments and successful completion of the upgrade process.

In addition, GLASRA also reimburses USSF and MHSAA fees for trainers, assigners, and assessors/observers.
